BANK OF ENGLAND – STUFFY TO STIMULATING

The Bank of England has a museum – visited mainly by retirees and bored school kids. We were asked to breathe a bit of life, and youth, into their space and collection.

As part of London Design Festival, we curated Currency of the Future, a show exploring how money is evolving, through the eyes of 17 artists including photographers, illustrators, and conceptual creatives.

Since we had a gallery of our own at KesselsKramer London, we also hosted Barter Bank—a week-long satellite show where visitors created digital artworks and traded them with others, challenging ideas of value and exchange.

If you like case study videos (some people do), watch this one. Make it to the end, and you win a bowler hat.
