MUSEUM OF LONDON – A SPACE FOR LONDONERS

The Museum of London is moving to West Smithfield – the city’s crossroads of cultures, communities, and stories.

We helped reposition it as the Museum of Londoners: not just a place of artefacts, but a reflection of the capital’s diversity, open to all who live in or visit the city.

The refreshed identity extended across public murals and community campaigns – from celebrating new births in Waltham Forest with portraits of expectant mothers, to showcasing young footballers in Brent during the UEFA Women’s Euro championship.

These projects brought the museum closer to Londoners and helped secure vital backing from stakeholders and the Mayor’s office to realise its new home at Smithfield Market.

Then scoot down further, and see some of the brand work completed for the Museum’s two current locations (Barbican and Docklands), designed to increase the relevancy of the museum, and make it an iconic destination alongside Tate and National Portrait Gallery, by comparing the pieces in the museum to the landscape and lives of today’s London and Londoners.
